Android P Release May Be Only Weeks Away

Android P is currently in beta, and its official launch has been on the approach for a while now. The good news is that we might not have to wait for much longer.

Android P Release May Be Only Weeks Away

Trusted leaker, Evan Blass posted a tweet that strongly suggested that we would get Android P this August. The tweet contained a calendar showing August 2018 with the August 20 box marked with a green P.

Blass has a good record for smartphone-related leaks, and we may have cause to believe that he actually has inside information concerning the release of the highly anticipated Android P.

Here are some of the features that Android P is said to boast:

  • Built-in notch support.
  • Battery-saving dark mode.
  • Return of the “Clear All” button.

In addition, it promises to be the most secure version of Android yet, even though Android is believed to be less secure than Apple’s iOS.

If the momentary slip-up of a Huawei employee during a particular live chat with a customer is anything to go by, then we may assume that Android P will be called Android Pistachio.

Now, we can only wait till August 20 to find know whether Blass’ tweet is actually accurate. While waiting, you may read our post on how to install Android P on your smartphone.
