Apple is all set to reveal its iPhone 2018 lineup at a launch event slated for September 12 at the Company’s Steve Employments Theater in California.
From the torrent of rumors that have found their way online in the pastcouple of months, it is foreseen that Apple will unveil three new iPhone models this month. The first is the iPhone X Plus which is said to be the most costly variant with a 6.5-inch OLED screen. This could likewise be the biggest iPhone ever. The second OLED variant will apparently be called iPhone X 2018 and it will ship with a 5.8-inch screen. The third model with LCD display (the successor to iPhone SE, as a few reports are calling it), will have a 6.1-inch screen. A few reports claim that the new iPhone X series will be called iPhone X2, but that remains to be seen.
In the latest update, the 6.1-inch LCD model has been leaked in four color variants, showing off the phone’s design elements, as well as a dual-SIM card slot.
Soon after the media invites for Apple’s September 12 event were conveyed, a report showed off renders for the forthcoming variants of the iPhone X and the Apple Watch Series 4. While the former will likely get their design languages from their predecessor, the iPhone X, the Apple Watch Series 4 will likely get a design with thinner bezels. The series will also come with a new sensor for health monitoring, a longer battery life, and solid-state buttons. It will ship with watchOS 5.
