Candy Crush developer, King, may be working on a new Call of Duty game.
This speculation is from reports about a recently discovered job ad looking for a level designer to work on “an exciting new project” which is set to create the Call of Duty experience on mobile.
The ad suggests that whoever is taken for the job will be working out of the offices of the studio in Stockholm, Sweden.
Also, the new game is apparently a collaborative work with Activision Blizzard who acquired the company in 2015.
According to the ad, the company is “breaking new ground for mobile and redefining the genre”. It also suggests that the company’s ambition is to be fresh, social, and highly accessible. The company also intends to provide a very authentic game experience while working towards this ambition.
This will not be the first time that there will be a Call of Duty game on mobile. Some of the mobile Call of Duty titles already released by Activision include Call of Duty: Black Ops and Call of Duty: Heroes.
