According to a reputable leakster, Ice Universe, the Galaxy S11 and clamshell foldable phones (Galaxy Fold 2) will be unveiled on February 18, 2020. Ice Universe says the devices should be released on the date at a conference in San Francisco.
The date is in line with the unveiling of the last two Galaxy S flagships. Recall that the Galaxy S10, S10+ and S10e were launched on February 20th this year. Also, the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus were presented on February 25, 2018.
Ice Universe further revealed that the Galaxy S11 series may come with the Snapdragon 865 in South Korea. Although other leaks have also indicated that the Galaxy S11 may come with a variant with Exynos 9830 chipset. The availability of both variants would be dependent on the region.
As two of the most anticipated flagships ahead of 2020, we can expect more information on the Galaxy S11 and the Clamshell Foldable, Galaxy Fold 2 in the next two months before the unveiling date.
