We are currently awaiting the launch of the Google Pixel 4a. There were earlier reports that suggested that the device would be launched on May 22. However, newer reports claim that this launch has been postponed to June.
Over the past few months, there have also been rumors about the Google Pixel 4a having a starting price of $399. But we now have new information that suggests that the phone will cost even lower than that.
The Google Pixel 4a with 128GB storage will have a price tag of $349. We expect another variant with 64GB storage. This will likely cost even less than that. It will come with 6GB of RAM.
In comparison, Apple’s newly-launched iPhone SE has a starting price of $399 for the 64GB storage variant. According to many analysts, the Pixel 4a and the iPhone SE are competitors. With the Pixel 4a being cheaper than the iPhone SE, the competition seems tighter for the iPhone.
Talking about the specifications of the Google Pixel 4a, there have been reports that the device will sport a 5.81-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. The screen will have a punch-hole at the top-left corner to house the phone’s 8MP selfie camera. Around the back will be a 12MP camera.
The Google Pixel 4a is expected to use the Snapdragon 730 chipset. It will be powered by a 3,080mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging.
