Hisense’s first 5G phone is coming. The phone, the Hisense F50, will use the Ziguang Zhanrui’s first 5G dual-mode processor.
Dr. Ma Xiaohang, the Vice President of Hisense Electronic Information Group and Deputy General Manager of Qingdao Hisense Communication Co. Ltd., announced the upcoming phone.
Xiaohang announced the Hisense F50 while delivering a keynote speech at the 2020 Ziguang Zhanrui Spring Online Conference.
The Ziguang Zhanrui’s first 5G dual-mode processor is called the Tiger T710. It uses an 8-core CPU architecture. This comprises four 2.0GHz Arm Cortex-A75 cores and four 1.8GHz Arm Cortex-A55 cores. It also uses an IMG PowerVR GM 9446 graphics processor operating at 800MHz. Thanks to the Ivy 510 baseband it uses, the Hisense F50 can support both 5G SA independent networking and NSA non-independent networking.
The Hisense F50 is powered by a 5,010mAh battery with support for up to 18W fast-charge. Hisense has not announced the phone’s price and release date. However, we believe that we will have more information in the coming weeks.
