HONOR Pad 6 and HONOR Pad X6 announced for Europe at IFA 2020

The IFA 2020 was recently concluded and aside from launching the HONOR Watch GS Pro, HONOR Watch ES, HONOR MagicBook 14/15 2020 Ryzen Edition, and HONOR MagicBook Pro Ryzen Edition, the Asian brand announced the HONOR Pad 6 and HONOR Pad X6 for Europe. However, the company didn’t release any information regarding the pricing, specifications, and availability of the product.

HONOR Pad 6 and HONOR Pad X6

These recently unveiled Honor tablets which are designed for European countries are identical to each other. These tablets were launched in China in July following the launch of the earlier mentioned AMD Ryzen-powered laptops.

The major notable differences between the two tablets are screen size, LTE support, memory configuration, and color. Aside the above stated conditions, the two devices have the same chassis and features.

HONOR Pad 6 Specs

  • Display: 10.1-inch display with 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution, 224ppo, 70% NTSC color gamut, and 80.6% screen-to-body ratio.
  • Storage: Available in two (2) variants 3GB RAM – 32GB ROM storage and 4GB RAM – 64GB ROM storage.
  • Connectivity: Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi + LTE
  • CPU: HiSilicon Kirin 710A SoC
  • Camera: Front: 2MP; Rear: 5MP
  • Battery: 5100mAh supporting 10W charging.

HONOR Pad X6 Specs

  • Display: 9.7-inch display with a 1280 x 800 pixels resolution, 156ppi, 60% color gamut, and 75% screen-to-body ratio.
  • Storage: Available in one (1) variant 3GB RAM – 32GB ROM storage.
  • CPU: HiSilicon Kirin 710A SoC
  • Camera: Front: 2MP; Rear: 5MP
  • Battery: 5100mAh supporting 10W charging.

With its impressive specs, it is surprising that the device lacks basic features such as a 3.5mm headphone jack. The device will however support a USB Type-C to 3.5mm adaptor which will be available in its box. The two tablets will also feature a dual-band Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, Dual Speaker with HUAWEI Histen 6.1 surround sound technology.

Lastly, these devices will run on Magic UI 3.1 which is based on Android 10 with HMS (Huawei Mobile Services).
