LG has plans to showcase two 5G-enabled smartphones at the Mobile World Congress next year. One of the devices, LG V60 ThinQ 5G, will come with a dual screen and 5G connectivity. LG will also announce a new 5G flagship smartphone at the MWC next year.
The device’s predecessor, LG V50 ThinQ 5G, was launched in a similar fashion at the Mobile World Congress 2019. A report from the Korea Herald reveals that the device will come with an upgrade Dual screen folding structure. This is different from the free stop hinge adopted by the LG V50 ThinQ 5G, which has the ability to stop and hold the second screen.
It is likely that the LG V60 ThinQ 5G will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Chipset with X55 5G modem (which supports dual-mode 5G and mmWave 5G). The name and details of the other 5G device was not mentioned. Both devices will be on showcase in February 2020 at the Mobile World Congress held in Barcelona, Spain
