Reports arriving speaks of the possibility of Nokia launching their Nokia 5.3 smartphone in India, when it went live on the company’s India website. Although HMD Global has not released any hints on a new phone launch in India, the new listing update on the website offers sufficient confirmation of an imminent launch.
Nokia 5.3 was unveiled globally in March and it sported a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC and a Quad rear camera setup with a 13MP sensor. It was also equipped with an ample 4,000mAh battery.

The dual-Sim (Nano) device runs on Android 10 and features a 6.55-inch HD+ (720×1600 pixels) display. As stated initially, the device sports a Snapdragon 665 SoC, coupled with up to 6GB of RAM. When it comes to storage, the Nokia 5.3 sports 64GB of eMMC 5.1 storage options that is expandable via microSD card; up to 512GB through a dedicated memory slot.
Regarding optics, this device has a quad rear camera setup comprising a 13MP primary sensor, a 5MP secondary sensor, 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro shooter. It is also paired with an LED flash, as well as an 8MP selfie camera.
This powerful device boasts of a 4000mAh battery supporting 10W charging. Its connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, FM radio, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The Nokia 5.3 phones measures 164.28 x 76.62 x 8.5mm and weighs 180 grams.
