Nokia 8.2 to have only one version, with 5G support

Nokia reportedly has no plans to release a LTE-only version of Nokia 8.2. This is according to information from NokiaPoweruser. The source believes that only one version of Nokia 8.2, with 5G support, will be unveiled at the 2020 Mobile World Congress in February.

On the Camera Front, the 5G-enabled Nokia 8.2 is expected to have a 64MP rear camera and a 32MP pop-up selfie camera. The Nokia 8.2 might also come with other decent mid-end features: up to 256GB Internal Storage and 8GB RAM.

Some rumours also suggest that the Nokia 8.2 is to be powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 735 Processor. The 5G-supported Qualcomm Snapdragon 735 processor is to based on 7nm platform, as well as bringing the next AI engine, gaming and other premium features.

However, If HMD are to follow the the idea of releasing two versions of the same phone, like it did with the Nokia 6.1, 6.1 Plus and 6.2, It will launch a follow up to the Nokia 8.2 with a new name entirely.

The Nokia 8.2, if the reports are to be believed, will be arl bargain for buyers. It is expected to be priced around the $500 mark. Prospective Buyers can only anticipate its unveiling to see if it will be available in their regions.
