Announced in July 2020, the OnePlus Nord with Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC, 90HZ display, and a Quad-camera setup at its rear was released at a starting price of $475. The new OnePlus mid-range device has been warmly welcomed by reviewers and users alike.
To improve upon the device’s flaws revealed to the company by users, the device has undergone several updates and now has Google AR core support. This new feature is open to devices that have been whitelisted by Google. Although Google hasn’t whitelisted the OnePlus Nord as an ARCore Supported Device, we hope it will happen soon enough.

OnePlus users currently report that they can update the Google Play Services for AR app through the Play Store. It is necessary that only devices with sensors that are properly calibrated by the OEM and Google for an optimal augmented reality experience can download and use ARCore-enabled apps.
The OnePlus Nord is a certified YouTube Signature device and should be Android Enterprise Recommended soon enough. Kernel sources for the device are already available online.
