2 min read

Oppo has just issued an official statement about the Oppo Reno4 series. According to the statement issued today, May 25, the Oppo Reno4 series will be released very soon. We have reasons to believe that the series will be focused on video.

The company released a video with the phrase ‘Oppo Video Phone Reno4’ on its Weibo channel. This naturally suggests that Oppo intends to focus on video recording in the upcoming series. In fact, it could easily become a new direction in the smartphone market.

Earlier information revealed that the Oppo Reno4 series will come with three major highlights. These include the Super Night Scene Video, the 65W Super Flash charge, and a new generation of video anti-shake capabilities.

The Reno4 series will feature an Ultra Steady Video Super Image Stabilization. It will use the Hybrid Image Stabilization (HIS) technology with support for 5-axis image stabilization. Meanwhile, Oppo added the Video Super Image Stabilization feature to the Reno2 and Reno3 series.

According to information from multiple sources, the frequency of the gyro is increased to 300%. Oppo also upgrades the 16:9 video frame input to a full-size input rate to improve the downsampling. With this, one can be sure of as much picture clarity as possible. What all of this means is that the Oppo Reno4 series will let you take stabilized videos even when dealing with moving scenes like running and skiing.

The Oppo Reno4 series will be officially released in June, 2020.
