The POCO/ Pocophone F1 was received well when it was launched in 2018. It came with exciting features that made it a flagship killer. Even with its features, it was very affordable.
After the launch of the POCO F1, the brand went quiet for nearly 18 months. Eventually, POCO came back earlier in 2020 with the POCO X2. However, many people still yearned for the real POCO F1 successor.
Now, the wait is over as the POCO F2 Pro is set to launch on May 12. POCO Global took to Twitter to announce the launch of the F2 Pro. This launch event will take place online considering the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. As if to appease the fans, the brand used the hashtag #POCOisBACK.
When the POCO X2 was launched, it came as a rebranded Redmi K30 4G. So it’s not surprising that the POCO F2 Pro is reportedly just a rebranded Redmi K30 Pro. The F2 Pro was added to the list of Google Play-certified devices last week, and the listing confirmed instances from the MIUI Camera app suggesting that the phone may just be a rebranded Redmi K30 Pro. It is only a matter of time before all of this is confirmed.
