A recent leak spotted on Geekbench on Monday the 31st of August 2020, revealed the possibility of the device having a POCO X3 with Surya SoC. This evening, the company announced that they are launching its new model the POCO X3 through their official and global twitter account.
The POCO X3 with Surya SoC is set to be launched in an online event scheduled for the 7th of September, 2020 by 8:00PM (GMT +8). The launch can be viewed through the company’s official social media pages.
Suriya is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 732G SoC which was revealed recently. The new Snapdragon 732G is an octa-core (based on 8nm) chipset that includes 1x Kryo 470 “Prime” core clocked @2.3GHz, 1x Kryo 470 “Performance” core clocked @2.2GHz, and 6x Kryo 470 “Efficiency” cores clocked @1.8GHz. The chipset also features Adreno 618 GPU.
In the Geekbench, the POCO X3 has scored decent, a little bit more than the predecessor models with the “Snapdragon 730G” chipset. Moreover, the spotted version of Poco X3 is a 6 Gigs RAM variant.
