In the mobile game world, the Street Fighter characters have joined forces with Power Rangers to help defeat Rita Repulsa.
The mobile fighting game, Power Rangers: Legacy Wars will have Ryu, Chun Li, Guile and Akuma joining the roster. Whenever a player is playing the limited time challenges, the characters will be available for free. Street Fighter characters Cammy and M. Bison will also join the roster on June 15.
In order to unlock new characters permanently, players have to collect enough character shards from in-game Morph Boxes. Characters can also be unlocked through the game’s shop, starting at 6.49CAD.
In addition, players can come up with their own teams from hundreds of Power Rangers. They also have the options of collecting villains from the series and heroes from other universes like Street Fighter.
The game has a multiplayer feature, where players can challenge each other with their teams.
Talking about this crossover, Taehoon Kim, CEO of nWay, said:
Seeing Street Fighter characters duking it out with Power Rangers is truly new and magical. It’s never been done before and now we are making it happen in Power Rangers: Legacy Wars.
