Realme is preparing for a massive launch event where it plans to unveil a number of new products. In total, the brand is expected to launch eight different products at this launch event. The event is scheduled to hold on May 25 in China.
The main highlight of the upcoming launch event is probably the unveiling of the Realme Blade Runner. Realme CMO, Xu Qi Chase, recently revealed the Blade Runner, posting a photo of the device on Weibo. The device may be Realme’s next gaming phone.
As seen from the image posted by Qi Chase, the Realme Blade Runner will sport a quad-camera setup, arranged in a vertical formation. It appears that the back of the Blade Runner is made of glass, and there is no fingerprint sensor there.
We have also seen a teaser poster for the upcoming launch event. As seen from the poster, the Realme Blade Runner may use an in-display fingerprint sensor. It will also apparently not feature the 3.5mm headphone jack.
Some other products seen on the poster are a truly wireless earbud (possibly Realme Buds Neo) as well as a new power bank. The power bank may support wireless charging. However, the poster did not reveal the other remaining products.
We believe that the brand may also launch its first smartwatch, Realme Watch, at the event. This is probably alongside its first television as well. We should get more information about the Realme Blade Runner and the other devices in the coming days.
