Wouldn’t it be nice if this rumor came true?
2017 had its share of the release of some very powerful devices with amazing features. One of the prevailing features of the year was the inclusion of multiple-camera setups.
The OnePlus 5T, which was launched in November, 2017, for example, enjoys a dual-camera setup. Also, the Honor 9 Lite with quad-camera setup is expected to launch in India soon.
Rumor now has it that HMD Global is also working on a new Nokia phone that will feature five cameras.
Foxconn, which handles production of HMD’s Nokia phones, is reportedly working with HMD Global on the project.
According to news from Gizmochina, the camera housing of the phone will be like that of the Lumia 1020, with seven holes arranged within a circle, and five of the holes holding a sensor each while the other two house the LED flash. At the moment, we do not have details of how the sensors will work.
In addition to the penta-camera setup, this phone is rumored to come with a full-screen design. It will reportedly launch later this year if it is mass-produced.
Do you think this penta-camera setup idea is great or Nokia is overdoing it this time (if the rumors are true anyway)? Let us know in the Comment section below.
