1 min read

Rumours surrounding the Samsung Galaxy S11 have increased in the past few weeks. Now there is another leak on a patent for a new camera sensor. This patent was filed with the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO).

This patent includes details about a new camera sensor named “Bright night” which will be used on smartphones and tablets. Already, Bright Night is a dedicated night camera mode for the S10 and Note 10 series, but it appears Samsung want to make it a hardware. In some leaked renders, it was shown that the Galaxy S11 and S11+ has five cameras in a rectangular cutout which includes a new 108MP camera and 5x optical zoom.

Samsung is definitely planning big upgrades in the camera department for the Galaxy S11 series. The devices will get Laser Autofocus, New Director’s View, Night Hyperlaps, Vertical Panorama mode and Single take Photo. The Galaxy S11 series will also be capable of taking up to 8K video.
