Samsung Galaxy Fold Lite will use the Snapdragon 865 Chipset and cost $1,100

We are waiting for the arrival of the Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 alongside the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series later this year. Now, new reports have it that Samsung will also launch the Galaxy Fold Lite along with the Fold 2. This is likely in an attempt to make the foldable phone more available to customers with lower price expectations.

One good thing about the Samsung Galaxy Fold Lite is that it will be powered by the Snapdragon 865. This is the same chip that the Galaxy Fold 2 will use. It is worthy of note that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip was launched with the older Snapdragon 855+ chip. However, while the Galaxy Fold Lite maintains the chip of the Galaxy Fold 2, its storage will reportedly be slashed to 256GB.

According to the report, the Samsung Galaxy Fold Lite will have a price tag of $1,100. The Galaxy S20+ with 4G connectivity launched with this same price tag. The Fold Lite will also launch with not more than LTE support.
