Samsung has re-released the Samsung Galaxy Fold into several markets in the past weeks, launching it in China today. It went on sale for 15,999 Chinese Yuan, which is the equivalence of $2,290.
Interestingly, the Fold sold out in five minutes. Samsung reportedly had 20,000 units on sale.
The Samsung Galaxy Fold is a device with a 7.3″ foldable AMOLED Screen with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Chipset.
It has 12GB RAM and 512GB internal storage. With a triple-camera setup on the back and a dual-camera in front, the device has another camera above the smaller AMOLED panel outside of the fold. It packs a 4,380 mAh battery.
Samsung is selling only the LTE variant in China for now. However, we expect the 5G variant to go on sale later this month. It will reportedly be exclusive to China Telecom.
