Samsung has started working on the development of two new devices, the Galaxy M31 and the Galaxy M31s. This comes with the information about Samsung India’s operation kickstarting again. Samsung is set to expand its budget and mid-range devices in India with these two devices.
A report from SamMobile has it that the Samsung Galaxy M51 will have model number SM-M515F while the Galaxy M31s will bear SM-M317F. Both devices are currently in development and Samsung is working on 128GB storage options. However, we believe that there may be a 64GB variant of the M31s later, considering its price range.
This is the first time we are hearing about the Samsung Galaxy M31s. On the other hand, we already saw 360-degree renders of the Galaxy M51 a couple of months ago. The device may simply just be a rebranded Galaxy A51 with some design changes.
As per the previously-leaked render of the Galaxy M51, the device will sport a 6.5-inch display with a punch-hole. It will feature a triple-camera setup with an LED flash on the rear, arranged on a large rectangular module. With this camera setup on the rear will be a physical fingerprint sensor.
There is no confirmation of information on the hardware of these devices yet. We hope to get more confirmed information in the coming days.
