Samsung Galaxy S11+ to feature a 5,000mAh battery, the biggest ever on a Samsung flagship

Over the past few weeks, there have been lots of leaks about the Samsung Galaxy S11 lineup. Now, we have seen a photo that is apparently the actual battery of the Galaxy S11+. From the photo, the S11+ will pack an impressive 5,000mAh battery.

It became clear about a month ago that Samsung was ready to up its battery game in its next-generation flagship devices. Many people are already looking forward to what the Galaxy S11 series’ battery capacity will look like. A Korean certification database has now shown what battery capacity the Galaxy S11+ will come with.

SafetyKorea certification database has listed a Samsung battery with model number EB-BG988ABY. This battery will likely be for the SM-G998 – the Samsung Galaxy S11+.

Samsung Galaxy S11 Battery Leak

It is clear from the photo that the battery will have a typical capacity of 5,000mAh and a rated capacity of 4,855mAh. This is quite massive in the sense of the battery itself. However, the Samsung Galaxy S11+ will sport a massive 6.9-inch display. It will feature a 120Hz refresh rate. So, you may expect a huge battery consumption. However, you can also choose the 60Hz refresh rate to enjoy the battery more.
