Samsung Galaxy S11 to get 5G connectivity and 25W fast charging

The Samsung Galaxy S11 series is one of the most anticipated flagships ahead of 2020. The series include the Galaxy S11, S11e and S11+. Recent leaks reveal that the S11+ will have a 5,000 mAh battery. Another leak has now revealed information, this time, about the Galaxy S11e.


According to Chinese 3C certification, the Galaxy S11e will have 5G connectivity. It is further revealed that the device will come with 25W fast charging support. The device has the same charger model, EP-TA800, as the Galaxy S11.

The device’s dimesion is 151.7 x 69.1 x 7.9 mm. Recent renders show the Galaxy S11e to have a rear triple camera design. It has a similar appearance to the Galaxy S11, with a punch-hole camera. The device, depending on the market/variant, uses the Snapdragon 865 or Samsung E3990 chipset. It will have a USB Type-C charging port under the phone, with no headphone jack.

The device is expected to be released during or after the 2020 Mobile World Conference.
