The Samsung Galaxy S20 is here, and the flagship device comes with amazing specifications. The Galaxy S20 was announced on February 11, 2020 and released on March 6, 2020.

The Samsung Galaxy S20 comes with a sleek design and a nice build. It features a glass front and glass back, both using Gorilla Glass 6. The frame of the device is aluminum. The phone uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset. It uses a 4,000mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging, 15W fast Qi/ PMA wireless charging, and 9W power bank/ reverse wireless charging.

The Samsung Galaxy S20 sports a 6.2-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X capacitive touchscreen. The display has a resolution of 1440 x 3200 pixels and approximately 563 ppi density. It has a 20:9 aspect ratio and approximately 89.5% screen-to-body ratio.

The regular Samsung Galaxy S20 is not that big a smartphone. In fact, its 6.2-inch display is quite small compared to the other phones in the series. It is small enough to fit snugly in the hands or in pockets.

The global Samsung Galaxy S20 is powered by the Exynos 990 chipset. On the other hand, the USA version uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset. Samsung opted for an octa-core CPU (2×2.73GHz Mongoose M5, 2×2.50GHz Cortex-A76, and 4×2.0GHz Cortex-A55) for the global version of the device. The USA version also uses octa-core CPU (1×2.84GHz Kyro 585, 3×2.42GHz Kyro 585, and 4×1.8GHz Kyro 585). On the GPU end, the global version uses the Mali-G77 MP11 while the USA version uses the Adreno 650.

The Samsung Galaxy S20 runs One UI 2 based on Android 10.0. It enjoys 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The internal storage is expandable via a microSDXC which uses the shared SIM slot.

In the camera department, the Samsung Galaxy S20 comes with a triple-camera setup on the rear. This setup comprises a 12MP wide camera with Dual Pixel PDAF and OIS, a 12MP ultrawide camera with Super Steady video, and a 64MP telephoto camera with PDAF, OIS, and 3x hybrid optical zoom. The camera setup supports auto-HDR and panorama. Right next to the arrangement is an LED flash. On the front of the device sits a 10MP wide camera with Dual Pixel PDAF. The Samsung Galaxy S20 camera supports video recording of [email protected], [email protected]/60fps, [email protected]/60/240fps, [email protected], HDR 10+, dual-video recording, stereo sound recording, gyro-EIS, and OIS.

The Samsung Galaxy S20 is available in a single-SIM variant and a hybrid dual-SIM variant. It supports 2G, 3G, and 4G connectivity. The phone is powered by a 4,000mAh battery. It supports 25W fast charging, USB Power Delivery 3.0, 15W fast Qi/PMA wireless charging, and 9W power bank/ reverse wireless charging.

The Samsung Galaxy S20 has a glass front and glass black, both using Gorilla Glass 6. Complimenting the glass front and black is an aluminum frame, making the device beautiful to behold.
