Samsung recently partnered with New York City-based fashion designer Thom Browne earlier this year. The partnership led to the design and creation of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip from Thom Browne Edition. With recent reports of a second Thom Browne labelled device announced at the Galaxy Unpacked event 2020, the partnership seems to have favored both parties.

The Unpacked Part 2 event is set at September 1st, the device will also be revealed during this event, its specifications and pricing as well. To keep the hype going, the high tech company recently released a new promotional video starring the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 Thom Browne Edition.

Although the video has not been labelled as a promo video, its length speaks of it as such. The video was referred to as “A story in Symmetry” with its contents focusing less on the device, but more on conveying a certain mood.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 Thom Browne Edition as a Complete Flagship package

The new device was only briefly shown in the latest promotional video but Samsung confirmed earlier this month that the Thom Browne Edition will consist of a Galaxy Z Fold 2, a pair of Galaxy Buds Live, and a Galaxy Watch 3. All of the devices will feature Thom Browne’s signature American stripe and color scheme.

Although these accessories are not seen in the latest promo, they will ship along with the foldable device. In simpler terms, the Regular Galaxy Z Fold 2 which is expected to be priced at $2,400, the Thom Browne edition on the other hand will fall between $3000 and $3500.

The original device wouldn’t be manufactured in very large quantities so the Thom Browne Edition will be even rarer. We expect the device to meet up to standard of expectation, lest it becomes a collector’s item.
