Second-Gen Samsung Galaxy Z Flip’s Triple-Camera Setup appears in new Patent
1 min read
The launch of the successor to the first generation Samsung Galaxy Z Flip is probably months away. However, we have now seen a new patent for the second-gen Galaxy Z Flip online. Samsung filed the patent with the World Intellectual Property Office (WIPO).
The patent shows that Samsung is apparently considering two different designs for the foldable phone. One noticeable difference between both designs is the camera setup. While both models sport a triple camera setup, Model A’s setup is arranged horizontally while Model B’s is arranged vertically.

In Model A, we see a small display on the right of the camera setup. This is similar to the first generation Galaxy Z Flip. Model B, on the other hand, has a bigger display beside the camera setup. In any case, both are still quite small screens.
You should note that this is only a patent and not anything concrete yet. Of course, many patents do not eventually see the light of day.
Not much is known about the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip yet. However, we expect it to be built around some of the best hardware the company has to offer.
