This game is now available for pre-registration on the Play Store.
Over the years since the release of The Force Awakens in 2015, Star Wars has been popular among gamers. Many titles of the series have flooded the Play Store, and, right now, another title, Star Wars: Rivals is available for pre-registration on Play Store.
The gameplay of Rivals focuses on online PvP battles. It is centred around cover-based action, and includes a variety of planets to fight on. These include Scarif, Bespin, Jakku and the Death Star. You should know these if you are familiar with Star Wars.
Also, players can swap heroes in and out of battles at any given time. Some of the heroes included are Darth Vader, Princess Leia, Chewbacca, Han Solo, Captain Phasma and Jyn Erso.
Star Wars: Rivals is already on Play Store but not yet available for download at the moment. When it becomes available, Android users will get exclusive access to Death Troopers. These will act as fire support during online matches.
Also, App Store users will get exclusive access to Rebel Special Forces (SpecForces) support units for a limited time when the game launches.
It is of note that the game is being marketed as ‘the first real-time Star Wars competitive action shooter for mobile devices’.
