Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery has its own fair share of fans who may be looking forward to the future of the mobile game. The question is, will it add multiplayer?
Information from a recent interview with Newsweek has suggested that Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery could add some multiplayer component to the game. In the interview conducted by developers, Jam City, some of the future plans of the game were discussed.
Even though Jam City did not explicitly reveal details of what the multiplayer may look like, it did mention something about the team “investing in multiple social features”.
While what these “social features” will incorporate were not explicitly stated, it seems to be pointing in one obvious direction. Already, Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery has a leaderboard in place. This leaderboard shows how much random Hogwarts students have contributed to their house winning the House Cup. Perhaps, a future update will incorporate an actual leaderboard which shows the scores of players all over the world.
It has not been confirmed whether these “social features” will be added during one of the story updates or fans will have to wait until after Year 7 in the game. As it stands, they will simply have to wait for more information from Jam City.
