Google released Android 11 OS earlier this week by releasing the Stable Builds to Pixel and uploading its source code to the AOSP. That same day, OPPO and Realme recruited Beta testers for its devices, as well as seeding out builds for some of these testers. OnePlus also released the OxygenOS 11 Open Beta 1 for its OnePlus 8 series users to try.
Recent news shows that Xiaomi has also started seeding Android 11 Stable Beta to Mi 10, Mi 10 Pro, and Redmi K30 Pro in China. Unlike other smartphone OEMs, Xiaomi has started releasing MIUI 12 weekly builds which are based on Android 11 for about four (4) of its smartphones. Some of these devices include Mi 10, Mi 10 Pro, Mi CC9 Pro, and Redmi K30 Pro. Other devices shortlisted for the update include Redmi K30 5G and Redmi 10X Pro which will receive similar builds.
Xiaomi smartphones which were initially part of the official Android 11 Beta program – Mi 10, Mi 10 Pro, and Redmi K30 Pro have also begun to receive “Stable Beta” builds in China. These builds were actually seeded out to a few users, to provide positive feedback.
According to Xiaomi’s telegram channel @xiaomiui, similar builds were also made available for the global variants of the Mi 10 series. The POCO F2 Pro (Redmi K30 Pro) is however yet to receive any other build except that of China.
